Very small quantities can be left to cure, and then disposed of as regular non-hazardous shop waste.

Larger quantities, say half a kilogram or more, should be spread out onto a piece of waste material so as to allow it to cool properly. This will reduce the potentially dangerous heat build up that would occur if it was left in the pot. Once cured, it can be disposed of as regular non-hazardous shop waste.
